I paid Mark Cheeseborough for the transmission rebuild/conversion for my 1996 Silverado Z71. He said he would convert a 2wd 700R4 into a 4wd 7004 and install it into the truck. Mark used his father's shop to rebuild it and paid Mike Brown to install. Transmission shifts great, however, the 4x4 doesn't work.

Mark knows his stuff and will treat you fair. Hopefully, you won't need him but if you are checking out my review, sounds like you are in need. I trust Mark will treat you as fair as he treated me. He shares Brown Automotive, just an FYI there is no sign but pull in to Brown and they should treat you fair. Give Mark a call and see if he can help you too.

I have known Mark Cheesborough for over 35 years and he has always been my go-to automotive specialist. Mark grew up in the automotive business and he is the first person I think of when I have needed automotive help over the years. Mark has re-built four transmissions for me for different cars that I have owned and I have not had any problems with the vehicles since. Of the cars I have owned over the years, Mark has diagnosed and fixed problems with several of them, where other automotive shops in town could not. He also did this at the best and most affordable price in town. I have recommended Mark to family and friends and once you call Mark you will understand how professional and courteous Mark Cheesborough really is.

What a breath of fresh air finding Mark Cheesborough's Automotive was! After so many run-ins with fly-by-night mechanics, I can sleep better knowing I have a mechanic I can trust. He has now serviced all of my vehicles, and has rebuilt transmissions for two of my friends. Mark gets very high praise from all of us. He is punctual, informative, reassuring and his services were affordable and completed on time. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how much I learned. Mark always took the time to explain the process, and answer all of my questions patiently, without ever making me feel ignorant. He earned a customer for life.

After talking to Mark about installing a overdrive in my 1976 Trans am a few years ago and with him being so informative I knew the next time i needed help he would be the go to person. I Had Mark to rebuild my Trans on my 1986 c10 and he did a great job and also quickly even though I was not in a hurry. Very easy to talk to, professional and returns my call as promised. Thanks bunches and would highly recommend.
